Loved the app when it worked!!! Just stopped working, hasnt worked in weeks.

Love this app! I can set the alarm and see whats going on while we are away from the house.

I used to be able to get to the main site to pay my bill but not any more. This app actually fights you from going to the main page on your phone to try to pay your bill so makes it IMPOSSIBLE to pay your bill in an easy way... if you dont want me to pay my bill just tell me!!! Also, its WAY TOO SLOW to arm & disarm the system!

Allows monitoring away from home. Great comfort and relief and power actually.

When we signed up, we were assured the system was pet friendly which turned out to be untrue! Coming home to the police being here was a little embarrassing. Finally sent a tech who adjusted but could never set to "alarm away", ever, in the 3 years of contract! $66 per month for 3 years just to know which door someone opened? Unhappy ex-customers here.

The app is good and it does get the job done but when arming or disarming your alarm sometimes it will either freeze or load for awhile. Which is a problem for me since when arming my alarm I have no entry delay, so when Im trying to enter my house and have to wait 2-3 minutes to hope the alarm will disarm I just end up going inside while my alarm goes off but then itll get the signal as Im keying in my passcode and itll disarm it self. I would like to see a update for the app itself so that it could run as smoothly as it should.

Often times the ap doesnt communicate with the control panel. It very frustrating when send commands do nothing.

the actual monitoring is a different story. App is simple and user friendly but does lack any of the options or functionality the the wall unit has. In fact i find the app is easier to use than the wall monitoring unit or control panel and think that the panel should be eliminated since it only gives a perpetrator something to either break or make the homeowner deactivate. Something much harder to do since the perp would not want the homeowner to even have their phone when committing the crime and most likely take the phone away so turning the alarm off would be impossible to do. Service from the company on the other hand is not impressive as i have yet to ever get a follow up call once the alarm has been tripped. So if your looking for an unmonitored alarm system with some pretty good modern technology then this system is right for you. Keep in mind it will be extremely expensive since this "unmonitored" system still comes at a monitored price with payment due every month for like ten years! Seriously.

I cant log in on this app. The other Vivint app works completely fine though

If this app is intended to give you peace of mind it has failed miserably! My windows and doors will all be closed and locked and yet the app says certain Windows and doors are open and or unlocked. If your out of town its enough to worry you. I cant tell you how many times Ive driven home to find my garage door isnt open! Ive had all the sensors looked at and theyre fine so its just this crappy app. This app was a big draw in signing up with vivint now Im rethinking it. Ive even paid extra to have a tech come out and check the sensors smh waste of time and money.

Why do I have to wait 7days to get service restored when all I did was what the person at Vivint told me to do???i have wires sticking out of my wall and am being billed! I cant even get a hold of anyone to make a an appointment sooner than seven days It works when it wants to. Often shows front door as open when it is not.

While the app itself works adequately, logging in can be a real problem, since the username that you log into the main site with is not necessarily the log in username for the app. After I had to wipe my phone to get some bugs to go away it took me a more than a week of trying different combinations to get logged in to the app, and customer service was no help in pointing me in the right direction that maybe the username might be something different....

Fix it!!!! Wont Arm, call after call it does no good.

This app is simple and easy to use. Just tap the icon. Like all other apps, it can be fast or slow depending on the connection. When my key fob doesnt work I use this app.

Just updated my system at giving to two accounts, for a person on the move a lot this app is great for managing things, I love it!

This company changes too much money to have useless app as this. My camera is never available, though I have perfect internet connection. The commands are severely delayed when arming and disarming the system. Cannot wait until my contract expires.

App shows system armed I can hear the deadbolt lock yet it shows unlocked. Other than that not bad.

I just got the system installed a couple days ago and have been playing with the app a lot ever since. One thing I noticed is that the videos on the website look a little different than the actual app and look a little more intuitive on the promo videos. The actual app is pretty good but I wish the user interface was more graphical. Like bigger buttons, easier layout and a quicker response. I know this technology is fairly new so I would expect that as time passes, the lag time for the commands will be shorter. Like I said its a great app but its not quite polished yet but it can only get better from here on. ***UPDATED REVIEW*** Ive now had Vivint for 6 months and I still love it. Just some minor tweaks to make it perfect would be to fix the lag time with the video feed. Sometimes the picture just freezes and I have to back out of the app and open it again to get a fresh video feed. It has the same issue on the iPad app. When I see my video feed on a computer monitor its perfect live video, but on the apps it lags. I use the camera to keep an eye out on my 5 month old baby and having a freezing video feed scares me because sometimes I think hes not breathing. Also I would like the ability to selectively shut off certain motion sensors/door sensors from the app. Please update it so that on the UI, we can scroll through the options with a swipe of the finger instead of pressing "more" to see the complete menu. Other than that, great app! ***UPDATED REVIEW***+ Now that Ive have this system for about 9 months now, I can definitely say its much better than ADT. The app however leaves me in satisfied. Everytime I try to watch video on my camera, it freezes after a few seconds forcing me to back out of the video tab and back into it to refresh. I like how when you monitor your video on a PC/laptop the video streams live without any glitches. This would be the ideal functionality in the video tab on the app. I dont know if you have to compress the video somehow to let it be smoother on an iPhone or what but I have an iPhone 5s and an iPad 3rd generation with retina display and I have the same issues on all my devices using this app. Also the response time to the commands take forever. Please speed up response time and fix the video feed from glitchy streaming. Thanks!

I love this app! I love that I can check my cameras anytime, anywhere. I also love the fact that I can remotely control my thermostat.
