Why is it so hard to set the lights to go on and off, the temp to swing between degrees if you CAN schedule it and the online app is not great. Some of it is ok - most NOT

Very easy to use and efficient.

I am very pleased with the Vivint app. This app helps me to lock my home through this app if I forgot to do it using the key fob. It also lets me know when there is activity in the home as well as low battery alerts in the security system.

Awesome user interface with amazing controls, but its missing a notification area widget, bring that feature and its a 5 star app

Every time you open the app, it pesters you to sign up for a green energy program that controls your thermostat. You cant just say no, and make it stop. It is very annoying and its getting to be a waste of time.

Unfortunately when I really need to use this app it fails me, time and time again

The app has a mind of its own. It works when it wants to. I have made several calls in regards to the app and still no improvement. Very frustrating makes me want to cancel my service.

Not gonna sit here and say why...just do yourself a favor and dont ever sign any deal with these fools. Trust me, youll regret it....

Nothing but miscommunication and try after try to show up with the right equipment. Halfass installation and without my guidance would of been a cluster! I would never buy another thing from this company! The installers were pleasant and willing to help but their company is a piece of sh!t. Not their fault they work for low class Managment trying to squeeze every cent out of you by lying and not delivering on what you agreed upon! This App I have reloaded a couple times now. Some times it allows me to login sometimes it doesnt. Not until I reload the app. I now have 3 years to deal with pile of crap. Security cameras and door locks! Most of all their ignorance on how to service a client!

The vivint app itself is a valuable tool to utilize the system. A number of the comments deal with the business practices and the app review is not the place for it. It would be helpful if we are not limited to only proprietary equipment once we have completed the contract and our original equipment purchases

App rarely works, getting a camera to pull to view from your phone never works!! If you uninstall and install it may work for a day or two. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!

Never works properly I cant wait until this is over. Handicap without a working app

Our cameras are offline in the app, but totally fine on the panel. Ive asked Vivint customer service for help and I was told to delete the app from my iCloud n reinstall. I did that twice and it still doesnt work. How sad to have had an awesome app and have it konk out. How do I make it go back to working excellently???

I had vivint for many years. Very bad experience. Customer service is a joke. No way to cancel. Extremely unsatisfied with their company. Ive moved on to (clear protection) theyre amazing and I have no more problems. And I pay less!!!! Ill tell everyone to go to clear VS staying with vivint. Its literally night and day.

Several times a month the app is useless. For example, last night at midnight I was checking the app and it said my garage door was open. I went and checked and my garage door was closed. I reviewed the history and it doesnt go past 6:30 PM?? Its now 4:47AM the next morning and guess what? According to this app, my garage is still open and the history hadnt changed. How can I monitor my house if the app cant keep up?? Also, attempting to utilize the camera is very slow now. Cmon Vivant, catch up and fix your $h|t. Update - Ive downgraded it to a 2 now. The lag is getting worse.

Only works when it wants too, very aggrivating Try adjusting the thermostat and a message pops up after a few minutes or so saying it cannot connect, and i am connected to the internent. This app has caused alot of frustration, please fix this vivent. UPDATE= still not working very disappointing, You guys r like Cream filled pastries

A company is judged on how they handle the situation when there is a problem. Good luck getting problems resolved. Would give negative if i could

The worst app to monitor my home, it does not respond to the commands and it doesnt show the activity as it happens

This app is cool, sometimes it take too long to connect but that could be my service provider

It was a 5-star app. I dont know what happened here. The screens dont even look like those shown in the app store. The app is blocking my access. I can log in using the web site but not using the app.
